about the artist

My work is inspired by the patterns and geometry found in nature. This influences both my ceramic work and painting. The lush beauty of the rainforest island where I make my home is a particularly rich source of inspiration for all of my work. My desire is to create beautiful objects that weave into daily lives through commonplace use.

I work out of my home studio in Petersburg, Alaska.
